On Valentine's Day at Frankton Kindergarten children put on their best red shirts for the day, had red hearts painted on their faces, made cards and heart-shaped tomato sandwiches and slurped brightly coloured cranberry ice blocks.
The kindergarten holds a healthy heart award and the healthy food served a combined purpose in also celebrating the Heart Foundation's Heart Week. Queenstown Times reporter Christina McDonald was there with her camera.
