The Queenstown Lakes district’s water services company has been legally established this week after the council approved its constitution and transition agreement, and appointed its board of directors, last week.
The directors are Dr Julian Elder, Dr Sina Cotter Tait, Becky Lloyd, Mark Christensen and Blair Stoddard-Howell.
The company, which will remain 100%-owned by the district council, will assume responsibility for all Three Waters services on July 1 next year.
