The weather gods are smiling on UB40 fans, with the reggae band's members (from right) Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue soaking up the sun ahead of tonight's Red Red Wine Tour concert at Waitiri Creek Wines in Gibbston.
When they take the stage at 8pm, they will fulfil their promise to fans after last year's weather-induced cancellation.
They enjoyed some down time in Queenstown yesterday with a lake cruise and sampling of a few local red wines.
``We love to get out on the water if there is water available, and it's so beautiful here,'' Campbell said.
Astro said they would play as many of their hits as possible during the two-hour set.
Tickets are still available online and at the gate, and most importantly, this evening's forecast is for light winds and a high of 19C at 6pm.
