A fund has been established to help the Balclutha homeowners whose property was badly damaged by children earlier this week.
Balclutha businessmen Bryan Fraser and Steve Cleverley are among those who have lent their support for the cause.
Both were disgusted at the actions of the children, who caused thousands of dollars of damage to the house.
Three Balclutha children - two 11-year-old boys and a 14-year-old girl - have been referred to the police's Youth Aid section.
Furniture was ripped up, clothes tossed out, eggs thrown around the house, tomato sauce squirted everywhere and crockery smashed.
Mr Fraser, who employs one of the house's owners, has asked for a list of all the damaged items so he and others can start trying to replace those things destroyed or damaged in the incident.
Anyone wanting to make a cash donation can do so at the ANZ Bank branch in Balclutha, while those wanting to make donations of furniture, appliances and other items can contact Sue Walsh on (03) 418-3922.
