Anneta Payne said it was starting to ``look a wee bit more exciting'' at the school.

The old library was being converted into a classroom space. Some of the renovation work included the installation of a glass sliding door and plastering.

The space would be used by year 5 and 6 pupils who would shift in about two weeks.

The library would be moved to the school's separate prefabricated building to save on heating costs.

It also meant all the teaching spaces would be in the main block of the school which was a positive, Mrs Payne said.

The pupils were expected to be in the new classroom space by the beginning of next month.

Work started at the end of October and was being completed at an ``extremely efficient'' rate.

``It's all happening in less than a month.''

Mrs Payne said the cost of the renovation was about $70,000.

She said it was ``very exciting'' for the school.
