Lime scooters make their way to Balclutha - somehow

Three Lime e-scooters were spotted outside a house in Balclutha today, about 80km south of Dunedin - prompting a concerned member of the public to ring the police this morning.

A spokeswoman said police were not investigating. The scooters were tracked by GPS, and were not stolen.

Scooters can travel about 48km on one charge.

Last week one was videoed being ridden on the Balclutha bridge, and it was later seen parked in the main street of the town.
