Firefighters are battling a small grass fire near Tuapeka Mouth this afternoon.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said one crew and one appliance from Clutha Valley Volunteer Fire Brigade were called to the fire, in Clutha River Rd, just before noon.
The crew was still at the site but had the fire under control, the spokesman said.
