Arrest in Te Anau incident


Invercargill police have arrested a 37-year-old Te Anau man in relation to an alleged incident at a Quinton Dr house in Te Anau early on Monday. 

The man was charged with indecent assault, assault with intent to commit sexual violation and injuring with intent.

Police said a 26-year-old Te Anau woman suffered arm injuries in an incident.

The man was being held in custody and is due to appear in the Invercargill District Court tomorrow.
