Car ploughs through fence after give-way fail

A car crashed through a fence after colliding with another car in Invercargill this morning.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Ness and O'Hara Sts around 9:45am.

Sergeant Brent Kingsland said the driver of a vehicle travelling from the west failed to give way at an intersection and collided with another vehicle travelling south.

An ambulance crew attended but no one was injured, he said.

Police were still investigating.
