Police put up cordons as they responded to an incident near Hyde St, Gore this evening.
A reporter at the scene said there were two police cars, a van, a dog handler, and an ambulance on the street.
A witness at the scene said police had surrounded a property at Gorton St, off Hyde St, and were calling for someone to come out.
