A driver escaped with no injuries after a crashing off the road on SH1 south of Invercargill this morning.
The truck had gone off the road and was on its side, partially blocking traffic.
A police spokeswoman said they, St John and Fire and Emergency New Zealand were called to the crash in Greenhills at 9.09am.

However, the driver who was reportedly trapped, escaped with no injuries and St John was sent back.
The truck was being reversed out of a ditch on the side of the road just before 10am.
