Convoy for a cause

More than 100 vehicles gather at Forest Range Station in the Lindis Valley to participate in the Wānaka Lions Club 4WD Safari earlier this month.

Participants formed two convoys of 50 vehicles to make their way across Forest Range Station reaching an elevation of more than 1500m before descending through Mt Grand Station to the Johns Creek reserve on the shores of Lake Hāwea.

The fundraiser, which supports Wānaka LandSAR, raised $20,000.
