On display

Landscapes, wildlife, people and rock bands were just some of the images that could be seen at the Wanaka Camera Club's annual photographic exhibition at the Wanaka Hotel yesterday.

The club, which was formed in 2008 by Jacqui Scott (pictured), has over 50 members who meet once a month to hear guest speakers or take part in workshops.

The exhibition, which continues today, costs a gold coin donation, and profits will go towards the Upper Clutha Community House.

Ms Scott said the exhibition was not about making money, but more about raising awareness that there was a camera club in Wanaka.
