An elderly driver has suffered moderate injuries after their car crashed into a building in Wanaka, police say.
The driver was initially trapped when police were called to the scene on Long Acre Dr about 9.45am today, a police spokeswoman said.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said it attended and had since moved the car away from the building.
The driver was left in the care of St John, he said.
