The Otago athlete extended her own national and Oceania para javelin records at the Australian track and field championships in Sydney on Thursday.
The 21-year-old set the new mark of 40.81m with her sixth and final throw of the competition, which she comfortably won.
Robinson's old mark was 40.41m, set at the New Zealand track and field championships in Dunedin last month.
It also doubled as an A qualifier for the Rio Paralympics later this year.
Thursday's gold medal was the perfect way to finish the season for Robinson, who also won bronze in the women's F46 javelin at the International Paralympic Committee world championships in Doha in October.
Other Kiwi athletes, including sprinter Joseph Millar, were in action as the championships continued yesterday evening.
The four-day-long championships wrap up tomorrow night.
