The new New Zealand cricket coach will get a chance to stamp his mark on the side in two tests and two Twenty20 internationals in their upcoming tour of India.
New Zealand Cricket are looking for a new coach to replace John Wright, who will controversially step down after the West Indies tour.
The BCCI announced the dates for the India series overnight (NZT) with the tests to be played in Hyderabad and Bangalore before the two limited overs matches. Both teams will then head to Sri Lanka for the ICC Twenty20 world cup.

August 23-27: first test, Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad
August 31-September 4: second test, M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore
September 8: first Twenty20 international, Dr. YSR Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium, Vishakhapatnam
September 11: second Twenty20 international, MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai
