Rangers has beated St Mirren 3-0 to send the Scottish Premier League title race to the final day of the season.
Two goals from Jean-Claude Darcheville and another from Kris Boyd lifted Rangers to join leader Celtic on 86 points with one game remaining. However Celtic has a better goal difference.
The victory was Rangers' first away from home in the league since a 4-0 win over Hearts on Feb. 27. Boyd opened the scoring in the fourth minute before Darcheville scored in the 24th and 69th.
The final day of the season is Thursday, when Rangers goes to Aberdeen and Celtic is at Dundee United.
"It's important just to get the win," Rangers manager Walter Smith said. "Neither Tannadice nor Pittodrie are easy places to go and get a win at the best of times so we just have to hope that we can go there and do that."
Rangers midfielder DaMarcus Beasley made his return to the field after missing nearly six months due to a knee injury. The United States international was hurt Nov. 27, playing in a European Champions League match against Stuttgart.
Beasley entered the game in the 77th minute for Nacho Novo.
"He's the one that we're pleased to get back, although obviously it's a little bit late for him to be playing a lot of games," Smith said. "But he might come in handy in the last few games that we have."
On Saturday, Rangers plays in the Scottish Cup final against Queen of the South, which will be its 68th match of the season. It already has won the Scottish League Cup, but lost the final of the UEFA Cup 2-0 last Wednesday to Zenit St. Petersburg.
