Canterbury finished second with two points (15.5 games), Otago third with one point (eight games), and Tasman fourth with zero points (5.5 games).
No3 Kim Fraser claimed Otago’s only point, beating Michelle Reardon 5 and 4, in the loss to Tasman, although No1 Yoonae Jeong was pipped only 1-up by Aroha Minhinnick.
Otago beat Aorangi 5-3 in the Saturday afternoon round, wins coming from Jeong (4 and 3), Abby Crawford (1-up), Kathryn Baker (8 and 7), Tracey Storer (6 and 5) and Jo Booker (4 and 3).
Yesterday, Otago suffered a 6-2 loss to Canterbury. Jeong capped an excellent weekend with a 4 and 3 win over Catherine Bell, and Fraser grabbed her second win, beating Alisia Ren 1-up.
