Otago Boys High School is through to the semifinals of the Rankin Cup after thrashing Palmerston North Boys 5-1 in Napier yesterday.
Hugo Inglis and Tom Rutherford grabbed two goals apiece and Blair Tarrant one as Otago outclassed its opponent.
Otago Boys will play Auckland Grammar in one semifinal today, with Kings College (Auckland) and Westlake Boys (Auckland) contesting the other.
Otago Boys remains unbeaten but fought out a 2-2 draw with Westlake Boys on Monday during round-robin play.
The team has scored 14 goals while conceding just six.
In the India Shield semifinals at Dunedin's McMillan Centre today, Hamilton Boys High School will play Rosehill College, with Marlborough Boys playing Lindisfarne College.
