The Northern Mystics netball franchise have named former Silver Fern Debbie Fuller (nee Matoe) as their defensive coach in next year's trans-Tasman league.
Fuller, who has coached Bay of Plenty for the past two seasons, joins Te Aroha Keenan on a new-look coaching staff, with the side still looking for a technical analyst.
With the Mystics losing Silver Ferns defenders Sheryl Scanlan and Leana de Bruin in the off-season, Fuller is faced with re-building the defensive unit.
Fuller was a selector for the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic side who were runners up in the inaugural league this year.
