Dunn collided with Central Pulse defender Holly Comyns and the goalpost in an unfortunate fall late in the Steel’s 54-47 victory against the Pulse in Invercargill.
She stayed on for several minutes before hobbling
from the court late in the fourth quarter.
The Steel confirmed Dunn was being assessed for a calf complaint and would provide an update later this week.
Dunn, who returned to the Steel last season after stints with the Central Pulse and Mainland Tactix, has been in outstanding form this season.
The goal shoot is the most accurate in the competition, sitting at 95.9% from the one-point zone, and has only missed seven shots across one and two-pointers in the opening four games. She also has seven rebounds, often collecting her misses.
She shot 47 from 47 against the Northern Mystics a fortnight ago and shot 41 from 43 against the Pulse.
The Steel sit third on the ANZ Premiership ladder with the same three-win, one-loss record as the Mainland Tactix (first) and the Northern Stars (second).
The Steel are away to the winless Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic in Mount Maunganui on Saturday.
