Chignell to run in Florida

Otago runner Oli Chignell has been selected for the World Athletics cross-country championships in Tallahassee, Florida, on January 10.

The Hill City-University athlete will represent New Zealand in the senior men’s division alongside Connor Melton (Whippets) and Toby Gaulter (Olympic Harriers).

Queenstown runner Siena Mackley will race in the junior women’s division alongside Scarlett Robb (Auckland City).

They are part of an eight-strong team announced by Athletics New Zealand.
