Kotare Yaakov followed a workout win at Addington on July 20 with a trial win at Ashburton yesterday.
The Falcon Seelster-Kotare Yoyo colt won by two lengths in 2.00.2, the last 800m in 57.2 and the final 400m in 27.3.
Niraadi won the 1-8win 2400m (mobile) in 3.03.2, the last 800m in 55.9 and the final 400m in 26.3.
Niraadi has not raced since May.
Tuxedo ran the last 800m in 55.7 and the closing 400m in 27 to win the 1-6win heat.
