Mah Sish showed he was on target to resume racing in the Hannon Memorial on Sunday week when he was successful at the Addington trials yesterday.
Mah Sish, who has not raced for five months, came from 40m to win over 2600m in 3.13.7 (a 1.59.6 mile rate) for the 2600m.
The last 800m was run in 57.6 with the final 400m in 28.
Mah Sish held off Terror To Love (40m) by a length and a-half.
Quality Invasion, who resumes at Addington on Friday night, was too strong in the 1-win and faster trot after starting from 50m. He beat Clover Don (50m) by three quarters of a length over 2600m in 3.24.7, the last 800m in 58 and the final 400m in 27.7.
Macho Comacho ran his last 800m in 56.3 and final 400m in 27.8 to win in a 1.58.7 mile rate.
