Sleepy Tripp and Major Mark will represent Mark Purdon in the Hannon Memorial at Oamaru on Sunday.
Purdon said he would drive Major Mark, the more forward of the pair, and Blair Orange would handle Sleepy Tripp.
Sleepy Tripp won the main heat at the Motukarara trials yesterday.
Mah Sish came strongly late for second. Major Mark was hard held on the back of Sleepy Tripp, finishing fourth.
The 2600m was run in 3.21.7 (a 2.04.8 mile rate), the last 800m in 57.5, the final 400m in 28.
