Highlanders forwards Elliot Dixon (left) and Brendon Edmonds, along with son Benson Edmonds (20 months), took on a new job yesterday, becoming ice-cream sellers.
The franchise borrowed an ice-cream van and parked at the Esplanade at St Clair yesterday afternoon to hand out free ice creams for an hour.
The move proved popular and queues formed. More than 150 were handed out. The side will break up for Christmas after training today.
