The 2011 rugby World Cup in New Zealand has attracted its first major sponsor.
Emirates Airlines was unveiled in Auckland today as the first "worldwide partner" for the tournament and will become its official airline.
Emirates is one of the leading sponsors of sport around the world, also supplying sponsorship for the football World Cup in 2010 and cricket World Cup 2011.
It also sponsors four legs of the International Rugby Board's world sevens series and a number of provincial sides and international sevens teams.
