Zingari-Richmond has appointed former player Andrew Melville to the role of assistant coach for the premier side.
Former Highlanders and Otago lock Brendon Timmins will also be involved with the club.
Melville, who played for the premier side in the 1990s, after attending King's High School, has been coaching in Ireland for the past decade.
Melville will be coaching the forwards and replaces Bevan Townsend, who quit as assistant coach last month.
Timmins, who also played for Zingari-Richmond in the 1990s, has joined the side as a technical adviser. He has been coaching in Japan but returned to Dunedin earlier this year.
Former All Black Arthur Stone is the other Zingari coach.
Melville is also believed to be bringing three players from Ireland in the next few weeks.
Zingari has not won a game this year and was beaten by Taieri 31-14 last Saturday.
The side will play Green Island this Saturday at Montecillo for the Bert Hellyer Memorial Trophy.
