
Having missed the win against Ireland in Wellington last Saturday, the experienced Somerville was picked to start in the tighthead position in place of the injured John Afoa, with the rest of the starting line up remaining the same.
There was also one change on the bench with loose forward Sione Lauaki replacing Adam Thomson.
Coach Graham Henry said he believed the best possible team had been chosen.
"And we should benefit from another week of training together," Henry said.
"It will take a bit of time to establish this team and we need to take another couple of steps forward this weekend."
Henry said England had some experienced internationals in its side, along with some new players who were likely to present a challenge on Saturday.
