Pirates has beaten Alhambra-Union 28-0 and 31-15 this year and it would be a major upset if it was beaten.
Captain and first five-eighth Victoria Nafatali (20) has scored more than 200 points for Pirates this winter and is expected to play a key role today.
She scored 40 points when Pirates beat Kaikorai 75-0 in a semifinal last weekend.
"Yes, we can do it," she said.
"We just have to keep to our game plan and do what our coaches told us."
There is a family dynasty in the Pirates team because her aunt, Karina Nafatali, is a loose forward and one of four centurions in the Pirates team.
The other centurions are Jess and Gemma Tuhega and Cherie Jackson.
Alhambra-Union flanker and captain Kerry Stoddart (24) has not given up hope.
"Yes, we can win.
"It all comes down to the attitude," she said.
"We must be disciplined on the field and use our top two inches.
"Each person has a job to do and if they all do it properly, then the whole team looks good and comes out on top."
Stoddart has been playing premier rugby for 11 years and has won five banners.
It will be her 97th premier rugby match.
"I still get nerves but you just have to push them aside and do what you do every Saturday.
"It is easier than it was when I started," she said.
The game at Hancock Park starts at 2.45pm today.
