Rugby: Tialata to bring up ton for Hurricanes

Neemia Tialata will play his 100th game for the Hurricanes when they face the Chiefs in a Super 15 match in Hamilton in Friday night.

The prop, who is set for a move to France next season, will join Tana Umaga, Rodney So'oialo, Ma'a Nonu and current captain Andrew Hore as Hurricanes centurions.

Hurricanes coach Mark Hammett has made just one change to the starting lineup from the side that beat the Lions 38-27 in Wellington on Saturday with Alapati Leiua moving from the wing to centre in place of Jayden Hayward, while Julian Savea takes over on the wing.

On the bench, halfback Tyson Keats takes over from Chris Eaton after a four-week suspension for a dangerous tackle, and flanker Karl Lowe, who has been sidelined with a knee injury, is bracketed with Mark Reddish.

Hurricanes: Cory Jane, Julian Savea, Alapati Leiua, Ma'a Nonu, Hosea Gear, Aaron Cruden, Piri Weepu, Victor Vito, Jack Lam, Faifili Levave, James Broadhurst, Jeremy Thrush, Neemia Tialata, Andrew Hore (captain), John Schwalger. Reserves: Dane Coles, Jacob Ellison, Jason Eaton, Mark Reddish/Karl Lowe, Tyson Keats, Jayden Hayward, Richard Buckman.
