An Australian couple who travelled to New Zealand for a skiing holiday have ended up in MIQ for two weeks at a Christchurch hotel.

And it's all because they couldn't produce a negative Covid-19 test on arrival.

David Hodgson, a Brisbane doctor, and his wife Ann flew from Brisbane to Queenstown for what was supposed to be a four-day ski trip on July 19.
