A group of accomplished local artists, who paint together each week, will stage their 13th annual exhibition of new works next month.

The "Art in November" exhibition will run from November 1-16 at the Dunedin Community Gallery, open 10am-4.30pm each day.

The artists in the group are experienced painters, many of whom sell their artwork in galleries around Otago.

Members include Janet Farquharson, Alison Belton, Naomi Wadsworth, Lynlee Heenan, Irina Schreiber, Janet Smith, Mary Thompson, Judy Wilson, Julia McNaughton, Stephen Packer, and Lynnette Barker.

In the exhibition, the artists will show a recent selection of their art across a broad range of mediums.

A group spokesperson said, in a statement, visitors to the "Art in November" exhibition would have the opportunity to meet the artists and discuss their works.

"We enjoy painting together to share ideas and critiques of our works in progress," the spokesperson said.

"We are very much looking forward to this exhibition as

it is fabulous to see the culmination of our years’ work up on the walls."

The "Art in November" exhibition will include art to appeal to all, including a selection of postcard paintings, cards, digital prints and woodcuts.
