This month, a group of artists who paint together each week, will present their 11th annual exhibition of new works, in the "Art in November" exhibition.

The showcase, which opens today and runs until November 15 at the Dunedin Community Gallery, features works in acrylic, oil and watercolour paints, with some works on canvas and some on paper.

The exhibition features a variety of styles, including realism and abstract as well as landscapes, still lifes, portraits and print works.

The artists taking part in the "Art in November" exhibition are accomplished painters, many of whom sell their artwork in galleries around Otago.

Most are regular exhibitors at the Otago Art Society exhibitions.

Group members said they enjoyed painting together to share ideas and critiques of works in progress.

"We are very much looking forward to this exhibition as it is fabulous to see the culmination of our year’s work up on the walls," they said.

All of the artworks are for sale.
