The 40-strong Campus Watch team walked the beat fortified by tasty baked treats on Monday, thanks to a special delivery from Rotary Dunedin and Rotaract.

Baked by members of the two clubs at the weekend, the treats included Anzac and Afghan biscuits, chocolate cupcakes, and chocolate-banana muffins.

The surprise delivery at morning tea time brought smiles to the faces of Campus Watch team members.

University of Otago proctor Dave Scott said it was nice for the Campus Watch team to be recognised by the Rotarians and the young people involved in Rotaract.

"To be the recipients of this act of kindness is quite amazing," he said.
