Winter activities

A large crowd gathered for the opening of the Caversham Harrier & Athletic Club’s winter harrier season last Saturday at the club’s rooms in Middleton Rd.

About 36 walkers and 36 runners gathered, as well as about 16 young people from the club’s children’s section.

The season was officially opened by club patron Jim Law after which everyone headed out to enjoy their first outing of the winter season.
