Nicole (24) and Jamie Gallagher (24)
I am a probation officer and Jamie is a drainlayer for Adams

When and where did you meet? We met in Dunedin at a Black Seeds concert. We are both from Dunedin so knew each other from that too. I guess we starting liking each other four years ago(ish), once Jamie had matured!

The proposal: The proposal was Jamie in a nutshell. He hid the ring in our bed and I climbed into bed thinking I was lying on a sharp object hidden by our dogs! I turned around to find Jamie peeking through the doorway giggling! He asked me if I wanted to marry him and the rest is history.

Where was your wedding? The ceremony took place at St. John's in Roslyn. The reception was at Grandview Gardens

The church has a link to my family: we were all christened there and my parents got married there. I go with my grandma too. The vicar is lovely, he made our wedding intimate and personal. Grandview Gardens was great for us as it allowed BYO alcohol and we liked the idea of being away from the city.

The bridesmaid's dress: The bridesmaids' dresses were by Blake Basics. The girls wore their own shoes.

Your dress: My dress was from a shop called Brides Maids in Melbourne. It was made especially to my measurements and took only four weeks to arrive! It was a great excuse to have my hens' party in Melbourne!

The flowers: Flowers were by Estelle flowers and I could not have asked for more beautiful flowers.

The catering: Catering was done by a friend. Trish and Brian did a fabulous job. An amazing buffet of meats and satay . . . yes, Jamie chose satay!

Highlight of your day? The highlight of the day was the relief we felt in remembering our vows and appreciating why we had put in so much work!

The photographer: Photographer was the fabulous Isabella Harrex from Isabella Harrex Photography! She is a vintage magician!

Hair and makeup: Hair and makeup were by Scott Base. They did a wonderful job, although it was a 6am start!
