Paper Plus dual-store owner wins

The owner of Paper Plus' Mosgiel and Dunedin International Airports outlets has won one of the company's top awards, for contributing the most to development of the Paper Plus Group.

At last week's Paper Plus Group awards, the owner of both those Paper Plus outlets, John MacDonnell, won the Russell Anstiss award, the top individual award, at the national conference in Christchurch, which was attended by 350 people.

The award recognises the contribution, foresight and commitment of individuals for the betterment of the group.

Mr MacDonnell was one of Paper Plus' nationwide advisers for stationery product, is also on two national Paper Plus committees; the Christmas book buying committee and the gift and toys committee. He had also recently visited Hong Kong and Melbourne to look at gifts and toys for Paper Plus stores. In New Zealand, Paper Plus is made up of 115 Paper Plus and Take Note stores.
