Google launches curated music streaming in NZ

Google has introduced curated stations for Google Play Music subscribers in New Zealand.

The feature allows listeners to select stations based on what they're doing, such as exercising or doing housework.

The stations have been developed with the New Zealand lifestyle in mind, and include Kiwi BBQ and Taking a hike.

There are also specially commissioned stations, including the Flying Nun Experience and Women of Aotearoa.

The stations can be downloaded for offline listening.

Google Play Music has a library of more than 35 million tracks.
