Wolf Coffee Roasters
Supplying ethically sourced, premium coffee nationwide
Wolf Coffee Roasters is a Central Otago specialty coffee company who supply ethically sourced, premium coffee to over 30 wholesale partners nationwide.
They roast more than 1,000 kg of coffee weekly and offer equipment, training, and support to cafés, restaurants, and events. Their storefront in Arrowtown and online store serve direct-to-consumer markets with subscriptions and seasonal releases.
Wolf Coffee stands out for its precision and innovation - using data-driven roasting profiles, rigorous quality control, and traceable sourcing. They retained all wholesale clients during the pandemic and grew online revenue by 300%. Their upcoming launch of shelf-stable specialty drip bags targets travel, retail, and hotel markets.
The company has scaled significantly, expanding its team and reach across New Zealand, including early-stage growth in Auckland. A second roastery is planned to improve logistics and serve North Island clients. Wolf Coffee also aims to export to Asia-Pacific and import green beans from Yunnan, creating a two-way ethical trade.
Their unique value lies in combining craft and scalability, offering not just coffee but full-service partnerships. Sustainability is central, with reusable delivery tins and repurposed waste. Wolf Coffee Roasters is a systems-led, brand-driven business with global potential, committed to quality, connection, and long-term growth.
