Armstrong Prestige Princes Street's new General Sales Manager Hayden Washington
ARMSTRONG Prestige Princes Street's new General Sales Manager believes his experience will help the dealership to continue to grow.
Hayden Washington has returned to his home town after seven years in the car industry in Brisbane, where he was responsible for high volumes of BMW and Mazda sales.
Having started at Armstrong Prestige at the beginning of May, Washington is looking forward to taking the helm for Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, and Land Rover sales.
``In terms of progression and career for me, it's certainly very exciting to be a part of this team,'' Washington says. ``An opportunity came up to work with Mercedes-Benz and Land Rover, and I just couldn't turn that down.''
After growing up on the Taieri he departed for England on his OE, and spent four years working there. Returning to Dunedin, Washington met his wife, and they spent seven years living in Australia.
Now having a two-year-old child and another on the way, it was time to move closer to family, so the opportunity with Armstrong Prestige was ideal timing.
With the Princes Street dealership experiencing growth, Washington has arrived during a very exciting period.
``With all the models Mercedes Benz is releasing over the next 24 months, and the same with Jaguar and Land Rover, there is definite room for growth here,'' he considers.
