This simple and tasty way to cook it brings out its best with golden garlic, a touch of heat and a bright squeeze of lemon to finish. Perfect as a quick side for almost anything. Serves 4 (as a side) Prep time 5 minutes Cook time 10 minutes Skill level Easy Ingredients 200g broccolini (approx) 2 Tbsp olive oil 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced Pinch of chilli flakes Sea salt flakes Cracked black pepper Squeeze of fresh lemon juice Method Bring a pot of salted water to the boil. Add the broccolini and blanch for 1-2 minutes until just tender and bright green. Drain well. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and cook gently until golden and fragrant. Sprinkle in the chilli flakes and toss through for a few seconds. Add the drained broccolini to the pan and toss to coat in the garlicky oil. Season with salt and cracked pepper. Finish with a good squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
