Three Southern chefs into competition final

Three southern chefs have been named finalists in the Beef and Lamb Ambassador Chefs competition.

The 15 finalists selected included Trent Watson from Podium, Sudima Five Mile, Queenstown, Cameron Davies from The Fat Duck, Te Anau and Greg Piner, No.7 Balmac from Dunedin.

Foodservice manager Lisa Moloney says the chefs’ beef and lamb dishes will be assessed in their restaurants during the next few weeks.

The new ambassador chefs will be announced in late March.
