Bayfield High going strong after 61 years

    Bayfield High School, in Dunedin, was established in 1961 and has about  600 pupils.   

    There are five school houses: Anderson, Begg, Herron, Ross and Somerville, named after the European settlers of the district and the first principal Jack Herron.
