A car has been "destroyed'' by a suspicious fire in Dunedin last night.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman Andrew Norris said firefighters from Lookout Point Station were called to Blackhead Rd, near the quarry, about 11.40pm.
The crew arrived to discover a Honda engulfed in flames.
Police were contacted about the "suspicious" fire, he said.
A police spokeswoman said the car had been reported stolen.
