Dunedin carver Zyron Haenga holds a manaia bone carving, depicting a Maori mythological figure, on the final day of an Artists' Collective pop-up market at the Dunedin Community Gallery yesterday.

Another participating Dunedin artist, Nikki de Rooy, said the six-day event had been successful and had involved a lively mix of works by about 10 Dunedin artists and creative groups.

The art included works on canvas, as well as bone and greenstone carvings, with other pieces made from Oamaru stone, soap and paper.
