Police are searching for the driver of a car who ran off and left his passenger injured in the vehicle after it flipped in Ashmore St, Halfway Bush.
Several neighbours reported the 11.30pm crash to police, after the car, which police believe was being driven at high speed, flipped and crashed into a wall.
The 19-year-old female passenger was taken to hospital for treatment for cuts and shock.
Police were following a positive line of inquiry with regard to the driver, Sergeant Nathan White said.
