Alleged assault in Concord

Emergency services were called to the Dunedin suburb of Concord yesterday (pictured) after a verbal argument became violent.

Police were called to a Mulford St house at 9.45am where people were in a heated argument outside, a police spokeswoman said. One person had been assaulted, she said.

A St John spokesman said one person was was taken to Dunedin Hospital with minor facial injuries. No arrests were made.
