In June last year, an early morning fire, caused by an electrical fault, ripped through the tavern.
Former bar manager Stephen Morris said the building’s owner planned to rebuild the footprint of the site as it was part of a local body corporate.
Mr Morris was unsure what the site would be used for and said there were no plans for Mitchells Tavern to return.
