Police are hunting an armed robber who pointed a shotgun and demanded party pills from a Dunedin dairy last night.
Senior Sergeant Steve Aitken said the man, dressed in a woollen hat and dark clothes, walked in to the Taieri Rd dairy about 8.30pm, pointed a shotgun at a worker and demanded synthetic party pills.
The worker handed them over and the man left.
The armed offenders squad was called, but the man was not tracked down last night.
He is described as a male Caucasian in his 30s.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw a blue or green Subaru travelling, possibly at speed, in or about Brockville after about 8pm last night.
